5 Movies That Will Change Your View of Life!
The following movies make the case that our world is a simulation.
They use concepts of universal truth to convey this meaning.
Let's take a look at how these movies describe the reality they exist within.
Number one: The Matrix
The Matrix is a 1999 science fiction movie written and directed by The Wachowskis, starring Keanu Reeves. It depicts a dystopian future in which reality as perceived
by most humans is actually a simulated reality called "the Matrix", created by sentient machines to suppress the human population, while their bodies' energy is used as
an energy source. Computer programmer "Neo" learns this truth and is drawn into a rebellion against the machines, which involves other people who have been freed from
the "dream world". This movie got very popular at the time it was released, and over the years really grew to a wider audience, and was picked apart by people trying
to understand its meaning. Many people have seen similarities in this movie and the reality we currently live in. David Icke, a famous conspiracy guru, does a very
good job explaining the nature of the "Matrix" we are living in every day.
Number two: Waking Life
Waking Life is a 2001 American adult animated documentary style fiction/drama film. It was directed by Richard Linklater. It's the first and only animated film
released by Fox Searchlight Pictures. The film explores a wide range of philosophical Ideas such as the nature of reality, dreams, consciousness, the meaning of life,
free will, and existent. Waking Life is centered on a young man who wanders through a succession of dream-like realities in which he encounters a series of individuals
who willingly engage in insightful philosophical discussions. The teenager loses the ability to tell the difference between his dream life and reality and seems to
wake up, but soon finds out he awoke only to find himself in another layer of dreams or consciousness. The movie is purposefully made to look animated, as it was
originally filmed by real actors, and later given an animated and psychedelic feel with an technique based on rotoscoping. It is a mix between an LSD trip, an episode
of psychosis, and someone awakening their consciousness to understand life deeper.
Number three: Prometheus
Prometheus is a 2012 science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott. It is set in the late 21st century and centers on the crew of the spaceship Prometheus as it
follows a star map discovered among the artifacts of several ancient Earth cultures. Seeking the origins of humanity, the human crew arrives on a distant world and
discovers a threat that could cause the extinction of the human species. According to Scott, although the film shares "strands of Alien's DNA, so to speak", and takes
place in the same universe as his "Alien" movie series, Prometheus explores its own mythology and ideas.
Prometheus was also a Titan in Greek mythology, who created humans. He is said to have stolen fire from Mount Olympus and gave it to mankind. Some see him as an
extraterrestrial, who helped advance mankind technologically, and has the moral burden of wondering if he did the right thing. Advancing a civilization past the
capacity of that their spiritual development, could be attributed to most of our current problems in the world today. This issue seems to show up in our relationship
with almost every race who tried to help Humans over the years we have existed. It may be the reason most are skeptical to interfere with our development to this day,
and a reason for the Universal rule that you must not interfere with a civilization until they reach a certain level of development.
Number four: Interstellar
Interstellar is an epic 2014 science fiction film co-written, co-produced, and directed by Christopher Nolan who recently directed HBO's Westworld. The film stars
Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Matt Damon, and Michael Caine. It follows the story of a crew of astronauts that travels through a wormhole in
search of a new home for humanity. When the main character leaves for the other planet, he cannot return. He finds himself in another dimension where he defies time
and space while he tries to communicate to himself before he leaves. The screenplay has its origins in a script Jonathan developed in 2007. It received positive reviews
from critics, who gave particular praise to the movies science fiction themes.
Number Five: Lucy
Lucy is a 2014 English-French science fiction action film written and directed by Luc Besson and produced by his wife Virginie Besson-Silla for his company Europacorp.
The film was shot in Taipei, Paris and New York City. It stars Scarlett Johansson, and Morgan Freeman.. Johansson portrays the title character, a woman who gains
psychokinetic abilities when a nootropic drug is absorbed into her bloodstream. She starts to feel more, be more and see more. Her DNA is awoken slowly, until she
merges with all things and speaks through the path of least resistance which happens to be through a computer. This is an exploration of the Idea of God or Source. We
all come from source, and are placed into limitation and separation so we may experience duality and physical bodies. When our DNA is fully utilized, and all
knowledge and being is held within us, we transcend our physical body, as well as time and space. We return to being connected to all things. This is what many religions
are trying to understand.
